Greetings All!
I just wanted to let you good folks know that I got my first Sebenza that has a swedge! I got a lg, reg. p.e. w/ dual thumb studs and a swedge yesterday. Lynn Olson hooked me up fast too! It is just what we have all come to expect of CRK quality, fit, finish and sharpness. As a matter of fact I believe it is the sharpest Seb that I have ever recieved new. You all never told me that the swedge has an edge to it! It is sharp too! The point is needle like and thick enough to be still strong. I am very happy with it to say the least. I think that all regulars that I get will have the swedge option.
Thanks CRK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!

hi Wali!:D I am happy if you are happy!

Thanks Ron! Good to hear from you. I hope you had a great turkey day. :)

About 6 months ago I purchased a Sebenza with the exact same configuration. I love it!!! I know you will enjoy your new Sebbie.

I was at the Northeast Collectors Club knife show in Marlborough Mass. a few years ago. I was checking out some tables there. A guy comes up and asked the dealer and or me, whoever was listening, if we would buy his Sebenza. I took the knife, with wood inlay, and examined it. What a beauty. He wanted $225 for the knife. I was short on funds back then, and didn't have the cash. The dealer offered him $150. He accepted that offer. That knife was going for $425-$450, at the time. The dealer gave me first dibbs on the knife, as he didn't deal with these type of knives. He kept it for his EDC knife. Like the saying goes, cash is king! I sure would like to get a Sebenza.

Hey Wali,

Glad to hear you got one after all.... I'm missing mine like crazy.

Enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving.

Thanks Jules! I have a broken digital camera. I have to get my buddy to snap some shots of it for me. :) Hopefully I can get some shots of it soon......

Oh man, that was the deal of the century!

Congrats Wali

Hey Wali:

I just got the same exact knife from Lynn O on Tuesday -- it's one bad-ass knife. I'm glad he had two:)

Could someone post a picture of a dual lugged Sebenza in the closed position from the locking side. After looking at it....it just doesn't seem like enough room for the stud to fit from hitting the frame....does it provide enough of a gripping point to use?

I hope this pic helps, this is a small reg. double lugs "ambidextrous" sebbie :)

About a year and a half ago I was about to buy a Sebenza. I had one but had sold it and wanted to get another. At the same time a John W. Smith folder came up for sale and instead of the Sebenza I got the Smith folder. I've since sold the Smith because it had become a safe queen. A few months ago I had decided that I was only going to keep knives that I would actually carry and use. To this point I now have my collection down to 6 large single blade folders, 3 slipjoints, and a fixed blade This includes;

-Jeff Hall large Bounty Hunter
-Strider AR
-Benchmade 610 Rukus w/ivory micarta grips
-Benchmade 610BK Rukus w/silver twill G-10 grips
-Kershaw ZT0200
-Blade-Tech Rijbak
-3 WR Case slipjoints, large Gunstock, Barlow, Razor
-Entrek Cobra 4" fb

As you can see I sorta like my EDC's to have a little unique look to them as all of the above do. A couple through modifications I did(Strider and Kershaw), the BM 610 Rukuses(inlays), Jeff Hall(custom), and the Rijbak(nothing....yet). This long winded post now brings me around to why I posted here in the CRK forum, and that is because I just placed my order for a large Snakewood inlaid Classic Sebenza! Not only unique, but classy to boot!:D
This one is going under the tree to be opened on Christmas morning. Doing that to help build the excitment, anticipation, and to have something under the tree for me.

Anyway, just glad to once again join the ranks of the Sebezanista's and look forward to defending the virtue of the Sebenza out there in the bad and wicked forums!!;):D

Well a definate screwup as I meant for this to be a new thread and I hit the wrong button. I guess if a moderator sees this and can put it in as a new thread I would appreciate it, and if not, I'm still happy, just sorry to go off topic in this post.
