Well today I got a chance to rescue something from a horrible fate. I work in a small butcher shop and as you can imagine we burn through a lot of knives. Today though we thought it was about time we retire an old Foster brothers cleaver, a much rarer occasion as they last quite a bit longer than a knife.
As I was about to toss it into the grave yard, a cabinet under the counter full of ground down knives, I thought to myself I bet this would make one heck of a woods tool.

So I got home and started to mess around
With my Street beat for size reference

This thing took eats through wood and takes every thing I could throw at it. It still needs a bit of cleaning up but I'm looking forward to see what else I can do wit it. It may have seen its last piece of meat but I see a long healthy life for it in retirement.
