I got a call-back from Demko yesterday about a refurb of sorts. Y'all prolly remember the BM630 I waved and double edged. Ended up stripping the screws on the standoffs while PMCS'ing it. Even worse, lost the pivot when my dog decided to empty my tool bag all over the backyard. Kinda like that sword from Lord Of The Ring, it has been sitting in my knife bag waiting to be made whole again.
Demko is doing up a full Ti spacer (yay!). The screws for the standoffs are 2-56 from the factory, he's boring them out to 4-40 and those will thread into the locking slab. None of that screws on each side BS. Then he's peening the lockbar to give it some youthful lockup. New pivot as well.
Now I just gotta mail it to him...
