One of my customers asked me if I could restore his Grandfathers Wold War II era K-Bar. I don't normally do this type of work anymore but because of the sentimental value of this piece I said I would see what I could do. I received it with no handle, just the guard and pommel cap. He said someone put it to a bench grinder which screwed up the saber grind. I rehandled it with a stacked leather handle and reground the saber grind.
