I was just on BM's website building a couple Mini Grips, and noticed there are two new Limited Edition colors...

The Griptilians now have Crimson Red available, which IIRC was only available before on the REI Mini Grips some time back, and only came in a 556 with the typical combo edge...
The Barrage series now has Kelley Green available. Not sure how long these colors will be available, but hopefully this will lead to other color choices in the future...

The new colors are a lot of fun. After years of plain old satin or BK, and all of the black coated variants I LIKE the new offerings!

I saw that too. Looks like they're both the old REI colors.

That's what I was thinking Jon, but I couldn't remember if the green was for sure or not. I like green, and kinda wish they would have offered the green on the Grips too..
I have wanted a Mini Barrage for awhile now, and the green might just be the excuse I needed :D

Absolutely

Yeah. 585s/sbk-1101. I've got two that I swapped the blades on. One with a 585bk D2 blade and one with a 586 m390 blade.

Those do indeed look like the REI colors, and it's notable that the kelly green is only available on the 585 and the crimson red is only available on the Mini Grip.

here is my new custom with crimson on one side; other side is purple. the delica is a good knife but I prefer the bm. had to show my baby a custom from a local in my home town. Foy Cochran

excuse my repeated edits but this is the first attachment of a photo and it was a pain. I still need a lot of work on the mechanics but I got it up. the bm custom mini grip is the middle photo of course. the red crimson is the custom color. below is a local knife maker here in Oregon named Foy Cochran who made this sweet elk handled Damascus fixed blade.

Cool... I haven't been there in quite awhile. I spent a lot of time there when I was growing up because my dads cousins, and aunts and uncles lived there. They have all been gone for about 40 years...

Yes I am in Bend. I was born and raised east of Springfield, in Marcola, and we moved over here about 10 years ago...

The red looks good. I like it
