Yeah, same here. Love the checkered handle, and the brass pivot ring. These babies will probably be for sale this coming week. I believe they were sent to the dealers last friday, so any day now. I MUST HAVE ONE, limited to a 500 run!

Well thanks for your reply. Sure, so far only a guess sure, but still a good estimate imho. Well we will see how things work out.
 
I have the one with the wood handles...would love to just get the wood backspacer for it! Not a fan of the orange....
 
I wish you didn't post this; I'm selling my g10 crooked river and getting this one. was never too crazy about the orange g10 spacer and grey g10 scales. this is much nicer !
 
Don't sell it just yet. They only made 500 and each dealer only gets one. They are already out and you can't find one anywhere for sale.
 
Really? S30V again? Gimme a different steel Benchmade! Even 154CM would be fine. Could charge a few bucks less too.

Unfortunately I sold it,hopefully ill get one; worst case scenario ill just buy another one,this time off the exchange and save a bit. I do hope to get one of these limited ones...

Good Luck! They are beautiful knives and the Crooked River has become my absolute favorite folder.
 
I prefer the standard model due to the scroll work. Just not my cup of coffee.

I agree about the orange backspacer though, so I dyed mine.
 
^That's not a bad idea,if I don't get the limited one and get another regular one and dye the backspacer . did you use rit to dye it with ?

Yea, I used black RIT dye. Took a while but it was worth it.
 
Just bought one, paid retail ,but I sold a bunch of lesser knives as well as my regular crooked river to pay for it.

Hey Wulf,

Why did you trade yours off? I am looking to purchase one, but just can't seem to find one, any tips? I've tried Googling the knife, but no such luck. And I am not going to pay what they are selling for on the bay! Crazy.
