Has anyone seen a new line of ceramic knife in 2003 Blade show? Any information about it?

I checked out your website and noted it was for wholesale customers. Do you have a distributor in Australia that sells to retail consumers, or alternatively one in the States that exports workwide. Also do you only sell kitchen knives.

Hi Pinpoint, We have no distributors in Austrialia at this time. Other than ceramic kitchen knives, we also offer ceramic sharpeners. Because I can not get to your email box. So I give you a reply here.

My original intention is to collect some manufacturer information of ceramic knife from the blade show. And I am not intended to run against the rules to make any advertisement here, so please exchange ideas of our products privately.

Your products sound great, I couldn't see any military ceramic knives on your site, more info would be good.
How do you think you prices will compare to Kyocera when you get them into retail stores. Kyocera are very expensive here and therefore have very little following.

i couldn't get to the site, for some reason it's ungodly slow for me. so I'm going to ask here, do you sell them in China, if so, where? I''m going back in Sept, and I'd like to pick up a few of your products, sharpeners, knives, etc.

thanks.

To Pinpoint & Horizon_seeker: I hope you can understand the reasons I can not answer all your questions. Thanks for your interest.

I'd love to leave it to my eyes to evaluate your product. Tell you what, send a sample or two over and I'll be happy to evaluate them for you and post a review here on Bladeforums.

Heqing:

yeah, I've been there about five years ago,I've also picked up a few of the mud dolls wuxi is famous for, though I recall they were already very commercialized.

speaking of product testing, if you are looking for testers here in the US, I'd love to sign up for it, if I can pick them up in China and pay RMB for them, it would be even better. :D

let me know how they are distributed.

WTF! isn't this advertising?

Yet another "I can't be bothered reading the rules".

Moderators notfied.

Well, my position on Goncz hasn't changed, why he's allowed to advertise I don't know.

As far as A.G., I can see his point of view too in that previous issue.

This case seems pretty clear.

if you insist, though I hardly consider the case "clear".

if there's a clear line on what qualifies as advertise, then it should be applied uniformly, but since there are at least two cases where it wasn't, I hardly see the reason you are so worked up about it.

I get tired of freeloaders, I payed up.

I get tired of people who don't bother to read the rules.

I get tired of people that show up, assume the world is there for their benefit and take advantage of the work people have put in to make something nice.

As far as others getting by with advertising, you have a good point, and that puzzles me too.

1) nice of you
2) as I've pointed out, and you agreed, there have been precedences where this has been allowed. at least he's not cussing you out or posting this in every forum.
3) again, you have assumed that this is what happened. please see above for examples of "respected dealers" performing the same act.

since this post was moved by a moderator who saw no need to delete it, I'd say at least one interpretation is that this is a legit post. of course this is still open to final arbitration.

Gentlemen,

I am new user of this system. I do not know the reason why I can not sent pm to other members. And I can not reach pinpoint's email address because maybe it has some problem. And I deem it is impolite not to answer him. So give him a reply on this board.

I respect the rules and have deleted any word which may cause the misunderstanding and debate. I just want to exchange information about ceramic knife and collect some manufacturer information from the blade show, if it does not run against the rules.

Let's get more relaxed and return to the topic again. And it is a fun to get to know many new friends in this nice forum. Thanx.

ok, so now I'm confused, you represent a manufacturer of ceramic blade, but you are actually asking about a different brand than your own, right?

if you could name the brand you are looking for, I think you would get more helpful answers.

Pinpoint has his PM (Private Messages) turned off, however his email is available in this thread.

Private Messages is one of the extra features available only to paying members. I see Pinpoint has posted his email address in his thread, the same one that's in his profile. If it's not working that's outside our control....

Some people might get the impression Bladeforums policy is applied inconsistently if they don't fully understand Bladeforums policy.... We think it is in the best interests of consumers to move some threads to TGB&U and give the dealers or manufacturers involved the opportunity to show their character and business ethics there in the appropriate forum. We have done that in the past and no doubt will again in the future. It's conceivable that this thread might develop in that direction at some point in the future, but it hasn't yet.
