Who else would be excited to see a big chopper from lionsteel ?
I'm talking about a 0.25 thick 9 inch blade in vanadis 4E !
That would be epic

Concerning Sleipner why use that steel in a big chopper ?
There are other european steels that would be better suited for a large knife:
- viking chipper steel
- calmax
- vanadis 4e

Because with a premium ht have a good toughness and edge holding.

Calmax are not produced in sheet. In other experimental past work with this steel we sawed blocks to obtain sheet.
