I think we needed a thread of the new knives coming out this year. Gianni had mentioned a collaboration with a large manufacturer, perhaps he was talking about the new smaller Lionspy with Spyderco?

Gianni also mentioned that the Aluminum Tispine might be coming out this year. He has some prototypes at Shot Show for feedback. We do need some pictures of those!!

The other knife that Moletta and Gianni have mentioned is the possibility of a LionSteel Ti flipper towards the middle of the year. This will be the knife that I preorder from Italy.

If you guys know of other new knives be sure to include them in this thread.

LionSteel M7 Fixed Blade with a 7" Sleipner blade (0.22" thick) and solid (one-piece monoblock) micarta handle.

Also, there was supposed to be a new OEM company added to the already impressive list of LionSteel made knives:

  1. LionSteel
  2. Knife Research
  3. DPx Gear
  4. Blackwater
  5. Dendra
  6. Spyderco
  7. Pohl Force
  8. Bastinelli Creations

The new collaboration will be introduced in the market in 60-80 days, it is not Spyderco.

The flipper folder it will be a "Molletta design", soon we will start with the samples.

I had two samples of the aluminum TiSpine at the show, all the customer that have seen it asked me to introduce soon as possible, I will do it.

New knives in 2014
- LionSteel: yes for sure
- knife Research: no for sure
- DPx Gear: maybe, in this moment no any new project
- BlackWater: no
- Dendra: yes, two fixed blade, already done. They will be in US market soon
- Spyderco: yes, LionSpy Mini
- Pohl Force: yes, a very nice fixed blade
- Bastinelli Creations: yes, some

Maybe too much....

Any time frame for the M7, Gianni? I'm hoping to make it my first large fixed blade!

Gianni,

TiSpine Aluminum is the same 3.3" blade length of Elmax? Would love to see a 3" blade.

Any Kydex Sheath for M3 fixed blade knives? Will M3 continue with Niolox or will you have a version with Sleipner?

I think there'll be a big market for your IKBS flippers. I say flippers hoping to see two sizes: 3" and 3.5" blade.

Fantastic! Thanks for all of the info Gianni. Can you show us some photos of the aluminum Tispine?

M7 will be avalable first week of February. Next week you will find it in LionSteel web page.

Thank you for the info. The mini Lionspy and TM-1s are my next two knives. I don't care how long the wait.

Can' t wait for the aluminum TiSpine(AlSpine?) and the CF TM-1. A Lionsteel flipper, designed by Molletta, sounds like a sure shot as well.

Looks like a very busy year for LionSteel (not even including collaborations and OEM):

  1. M7 fixed blade
  2. TS-1 TiSpine Damascus
  3. SR-2 Damascus
  4. AlSpine (aluminum frame TS-1)
  5. TM-1 lockback
  6. Flipper
