Just picked this up yesterday -50lb little giant. Totally rebuilt & ready to go ( as soon as I put some pieces removed for moving back on). Actually, it's going to sit in my barn until the new shop (concrete floor) gets built sometime next year....or there abouts.

Fantastic!

Looks like a 50# right? I have a 25# and love it. Couldn't be doing what I do without it. Well i guess I could, but i am too lazy to hand hammer damascus.:D

Great find. You have Sid's contact info don't you?

George - it didn't come with an instruction CD, so I think I'd better come down to New B. I got this beast on impulse a month ago 'cause the deal was so good, I couldn't refuse - plus it was only 1-1/2 hours away and belonged to a heck of a nice guy.

I spent a month worrying about transporting it. Now that it's here, I think I finally realize what I've got ...

Hey I have a video that I can't remember who made it and it goes into the details of how to "tune" the power hammer for best performance. If I remember correctley it is made by a guy in Canada.

I will post an update to let you know more info when I find out.

Here it is:

Bob,just give me a heads up a few days before.
PS; I in the middle of paint'g my house so it would be in a week or so before I am available.

Great catch Bob. It looks great. I had the same deal with my 25 pounder, tranporting. It was only about 2 hrs. away and I sweat it out for about 1 1/2 months. Then I finally said the hell with it and hauled it in my little old '85 2wd/4cyl ford pick-up. It almost killed those poor rabbits under the hood.
:D

Jay , I was kind of hoping it would have been a 25lb because of the transportation issues. The 50lb weighs 800 lbs more and it feels it! At the last minute I got a friend to go down with me. Two people tipped it over to a soft landing on a pallet that was on the ramp of a trailer - then , with a couple pinch bars it was slowly eased on. Unloading was a piece of cake - I rigged a two ton chain fall to a beam (Yup, I calculated the load) and the rest took a few minutes.

George -when the "dust" clears here (its the beginning of my busy season) I'd like to make it down, perhaps in November - you'll run out of paint by then, right?

Life IS good!
