OK Got really caught up in WWZ!!!!! Not even gonna try to pretend I am not a big fan :) I loved the story and especially the refrences to the soldier's last ditch weapon the Lobotomizer! Well I went ahead and made something along the lines of what I thought a Lobo should look like. No longer pretending to be a converted E tool but a pure weapon! I have named mine Odin's Razor! Mostly a large axe, it has piercing abilities too at the point and at the base of the recurved blade. If used to thrust, the blade is wide enough to cleave a huge wound. A hit to the head would definitely make this a 1 shot,1 kill capable weapon. The G10 slabs are textured and large enough for a two handed grip. You can even use it as a thrusting spear if you had a shield/weapon in your other hand. I drilled out the tang to drop some weight and keep it blade heavy as an axe style weapon should be. Overall it is 29 1/8in and the sharpend blade area is 10in long. 1/4in thick 5160 is my blade stock and the bevels are flat ground.

I like it, very apocalyptic looking.

You'll be ready when the time comes ;)

I'll take it, with a neck sheath please. :D

Most people would be FAR more effective with this than a sword. How much does it weigh, Bill?

Dont have a scale but I'd say it is somewhere in weight between a full size axe and a splitting maul :) Might be a little hard to cover with a Tshirt though in neck configuration.........I'd got sweatshirt just to be sure :D

Man that's cool. I saw you post something about this book last week, so I downloaded it on Kindle and have been reading all week during my free-time, and it's awesome. I was thinking the exact same thing today when I was reading about the Lobos in the book...totally beat me to it :)

Send a copy to Brad Pitt so they can get it right in the movie...

nice job that thing is pretty.

ok what book..if it inspired THAT beast..i definitely want to read it..what is the title? Great work as usual Bill later Luke
