New lock spring for a Spyderco Sage4

I need a new spring to use in a Spyderco Sage4 knife. Spyderco told me they don't have spare parts for this model. I'm hoping there are springs available for people who make/repair folding knives. Does anyone know who I can contact about this? I'm thinking there are third party springs that will work in different models. Any help is appreciated.

I'm sure they would but I have disassembled this knife so it is no longer covered by warranty.

Carefully re assemble the knife and ship it to them and see what happens.

The are knifemaking stores available that sell all the little parts you would need. Masure the spring and call and ask if they have it in stock.
