New logo on the RAT 1....

I bought a RAT 1 for a friend of mine and I took it out of the box to change the pocket clip to tip up. I noticed the pocket clip has an "O" on it for Ontario and it says Ontario on the blade. Are these new for this year? I haven't seen the new logos yet, but they are very cool. Let me know if you guys have one of these with the new logos.

From where did you purchase it? I know the Rat-2 has clones/fakes circulating the market.

I think the new logo is something OKC started doing in 2015, possibly 2014.

I have purchased a RAT 1 and two RAT 2's in the past few weeks, the RAT 1 knife and box both had the new " O " logo, the RAT 2's and boxes both had the older logo, personally I like the new markings better.

That's the new logo you'll see on the RAT folders. An O in kind of a winged pattern.

Amazon it is definitely real it's the same as my other RAT 1 besides the logos.

Nice. I have a Rat-1 clonish knife, but not the real deal. I'll have to get one, although I know it's too large for me to EDC.

Very cool. So, did the contract concerning the old logo on the RAT 1 end?

I like the new logo better actually.

That one with the wooden scales, is that a standard offering or custom scales?

The scales are custom, I got them off eBay. Pretty decent work, I'm going to try to make a pair myself soon.

I've yet to see the new logos on the RAT 2's... that being said I'm sure you will start to see them eventually, it's just going to take some time like it did with the RAT 1's.

I think the RAT 2s had different license agreements, so they'll continue to have the same logo for a while.
