New look for AK Bowie in process.

With my Indiana Jones project nearly done on the hat and coming along on the jacket, I started appreciating the AK Bowie and rasping, filing, and sanding away at it's barrel shaped buffalo horn handle. With beautiful dui chirra blade and now a handle feeling more and more a part of me, I now have a set of gorgeous grade AA Desert Ironwood slabs to replace the horn ones being profiled ( with a set of AA slabs for my Alley Cat - if the oosik doesn't come thru VBG ).

I'd love to see a pic of that when its done Rusty What does the Ironwood look like (color, grain etc..)? We had something called ironwood out on Maui, but I don't know if it really was or not. That stuff was reddish IIRC.
