Hello Everyone
Some of you may remember this knife from Blade Show. I did not sell it at blade, but a few weeks after blade. I was contacted about this knife and asked if I could put some engraving on the guard.
I had some order commitments that I needed to take care of first, and just finished the engraving this week and it is now in the hands of the new ower.
There were some firsts for me on this knife. It was the first time I have engraved a guard on an assembled knife (I am glad the blade wasn't any longer
), and the first time I have done gold inlay with a relieved background.
The blade is a bold tile welded W pattern of 1080 and 15N20. Stainless steel guard and pin and African Blackwood for the handle. The engraving main lines are 24K gold wire inlay with relieved background.
I have included a before and after photo.
Thanks for looking
Brian
