Just picked up my new M-43 at the post office.
This is the blade that was on DOTD on 5/15. And it looks just as good close up.
Only concern is that when recieved ther was quite a bit of condensation on all 3 tools. However no rust or any other moisture related problems. I was just surprised to see it.
The handle is around 1/2 inch longer than my Bura made M-43 which is nice, looks like with a little sanding it will clean up to a lovely handle.
Blade profile is nearly identicle to my Bura blade and seems exceptionaly done. The edge is chopping sharp which will be taken care of in about ten minutes, only because it'll take me that long to get to my strop.
Overall a very nice comfortable in the hand funtional blade. Haven't got to chop withit yet but cna already see how well that is going to go.

Now the rest of the package.
The sheath is top notch, no blems and fit to the blade is very good as well.
Karda is good though it will need a little sharpening.
Chakma is excellent and has a piece of really lovely wood for the handle.

Overall I am very pleased with this knife.
Thank you Yangdu and new Kami Santosh.
As always I could not be happier with the exemplary service and the quality of your products. You must be an utterly delightful person to know. For it reflects in how you do business.
Thanks again

They are ever so sweeeeeet. The chunks and chips they raise make axes blush in shame. This new one is actualy a little thicker in the spine than my Bura blade. Handles in the hand the same though. Plus for the size of knife they really aren't all that heavy to carry. You really ought to get one when ya can, then write up a comparison of the performance differences betweenn it and the Ang Khola your handling. Me I've decide my next kuk is gonna be a Sgt Khadka Dui Chirra AK. Just gotta get up some more dough first. Namaste

Are you sure the 'condensation' wasn't oil? Mine had what looked to be water drops on it, but on inspection turned out to be oil.

Congrats on getting the new blade. Can you take some pics of the two knifes and post them? Thanks,

Heber

I will try to get pics up. Have to use my brothers digicam and I dont know how to post them but I'll figure it out.

Thank you for the kind words

Wildmike... if you need help posting the pics, let me know and I'll do it for you. I'd love to see them myself :D
