Some photos were already posted in Shortwinger's sheath thread, but I finished it, more or less, and wanted to show the finished product. It was fun and I now have a great sheath for a great khuk. A couple of shots show my first sheath, which fits my CAK and both of my WWIIs, and my new sheath together. When I have more time, I'll try to post some of my thoughts on this sheath, like what I should have done differently:). Anyway, take care and I hope you enjoy the photos.

The right photo, of the "angled Baldric" was a very comfortable carry for this khuk.

BTW, 16.5" Murali CAK and 19" Tirtha M-43. The strap is from my ESEE Pack Kit. It's the best strap I've found. It's even curved for the body.

Brother that looks sweet, you did a great job. Kind of gets addicting. Love the baldric carry system. Looking forward to seeing more.

jdk1, very nice:thumbup: I may have to retro-fit a few of my sheaths to baldric carry like that.

Nice and versatile.
When do you start accepting pre-orders?;)

Around 2028. I'll be looking for another gig then:). Thanks guys. It really is fun, just hard to find time right now. For us khuk kooks, making your own is handy. Take care and thanks again.

The baldric carry looks really sweet. Has anyone tried a baldric out in the field? When I strap my BAS to my belt I find myself frequently needing to pull my pants up. It seems like a baldric would solve those kinds of issues.

lots of us have been using them for quite a while now. they work great.

i usually (when not wearing a jacket anyways) arrange the frog/baldric strap ends under my belt to keep the khukuri from flopping away from my body. a search of this forum on 'baldric' brings up a wealth of ideas. i think the 1st mention of a baldric carry was in 2002 by howard wallace.
