I've been looking at Spydercos for about two weeks now, and almost bought a Native today, but this nice little CRKT M16/11K caught my eye and I fell in love. For anyone who cares, there'll be a brief review of the knife in the review section.
The first thing is that the cross lock takes as much as 5x the power to unlock as every other knife I've used (including my other CRKT urban shark). It's to the point where it's actually pretty annoying.....is this unusual to the M16 line? If not, I can deal with it.
The knife cost me about 50 dollars....is that too much to pay for a new M16? I can return it and have army/navy surplus order me one probably for somewhat cheaper almost undoubtedly if it'll save me a lot. Most stores in Waco don't carry CRKT really, unfortunately.
How's the steel on the M16/11K? Is it a quality build?
What's the difference between the 13M and 11K?
