Found this yesterday at WalGreens & CVS both, "American Frontiersman" premiere issue.

Reminds me a lot of "Backwoodsman", with articles by J. Wayne Fears and Len McDougall.

I picked it up also.I am fortunate to live fairly close to Len McDougall.I have practiced land navigation and snow shoeing with Len.He is one hell of a nice guy.
 
Some entertaining and informative articles. Picked up a copy on Christmas Eve, Scott Gossman recommended it to me. Good read.

I found it at the local magazine/card stand, I was surprised that Barnes and Noble didn't have it in their magazine listing.
 
I was down in Los Smogeles and Ralph's market had it. I thought the usefulness of the articles varied considerably but, overall, I'm glad to see it available.

I picked up a copy just before Christmas. I've enjoyed what I've read and would compare it to Backwoodsman except for the price. I probably would not have purchased it if I had realized the cost before getting to the checkout.
 
Ten and tax? Well, that is about what most paperback books cost nowdays. I may pick up a copy if I run across it. I've enjoyed Charlie Richie's Magazine for many years. Since 1980 I think.
