Big night for me... I finally dropped the hammer and ordered up a Paragon oven. To my mind, this is a huge step. I'm really excited about learning how to heat-treat! Don't congratulate me, y'all will be sick of me and my HT questions soon enough.

While I was at it, I figured I may as well spring for the membership too, so I can harass you gentlemen in here. :D What the hell, might as well make the 400th post a good one.

All kidding aside, you folks have been an incredible source of knowledge and encouragement to me, and I appreciate you all a lot. Thank you all so much for your help! I aspire to one day have my work stand side-by-side with yours. In the meantime, I'll do my best to keep a civil tongue and help other newbies if I can.
 
You will find the Paragon oven, handy for reheating your morning coffee as well as a good apparatus for heat treating your knives.

I warn you though; it raises hell with Toaster strudels with icing on them; it sticks to the brick lining and is hard to remove.:eek::D

Congrats on the 400 posts! I just upgraded yesterday. You name looks good in Orange.
 
400 posts? Heck IG does that before lunch. After lunch he isn't able to sit still long enough to type much. :barf:

Civil tongue? You can't hang out in here if you're civil. Look through some of the old posts about Nick Wheeler's errrrrr equipment. :barf:

Learn to use this emote :barf: It's very helpful to convey your feelings about IG, Nick, me, Justin's legs when he's wearing a kilt.
 
I don't drink coffee and don't like toaster struedels, so I think I'll be OK on that front. As far as the portagee biker goes, he don't scare me unless I'm close enough to smell him :barf:

I'm going to leave that one alone. Mostly, because I've never slammed IG. I try to wait until I've met a person before slamming them.
 
Scott, I don't think he's too mad, he invited me to join his friends list. He deserves at least a little ribbing after burning my face off with that crazy HT relish a couple summers ago!
 
Guys I have been busy, studying for my colonoscopy test. It is scheduled for 6:45am today. Now for you Bubbas, if you didn't have your noses so close to the crack of my butt, you would hardly notice the smell. HEHEHHEHEEHE!!!

Hmmm... well, since your brain is in your head, and IG's been studying for his "poop shoot" test... he just admitted that his head is truly in his ass!!! :D :p :D
 
Laugh if you will, butt the doctor told that I am a perfect asshole. This means I fit right in with all rest of you other Bubbas. HEHEHEHEHE!!!!
