Gentlemen:
I had a new maker in the studio today and he was worried that he didn't have any talent. I told him the best way to find out was to post on the forums. What do you guys think?

Looks nice to me, what are the specs? What kind of steel and dimesions etc. and how much is it?

Well, I guess I was wrong again. I thought it took a tremendous amount of talent, hard work, ingenuity, and creativity in order to make knives as beautiful as that. But if the guy says he has no talent, I will defer to his judgement. He obviously knows a lot more about making knives than I do.

What's his name and how do we contact him?

Phillip you got it right. Mark has brought a few knives by and we were talking a good bit. An hour for photo's and twice that of shooting the bull.
For everyone else:
Mark Hazen (704)573-0052 Charlotte, NC
I would say that he has a good start. But since I have skin on all of my fingers, you know I don't make knives.
Sorry guys, I have no idea of materials and cost. Give Mark a call.

OK guys. I am not going to miss SECKS next year. Great looking knife. I especially like that blade mostly dagger, part bowie, part fighter.

Terrill - yeah, I remember meeting Mark at SECKS. Very nice looking knife. I remember he had a really nice looking sub-hilt fighter on his table at the show, very nice linies to it.

No talent!? That knife is absolutely beautiful. The polished brass (I think it is brass anyway) guard adds a lot of looks to it. I think it is a very well done knife! Mr. Hazen has got plenty of talent!

It looks very neat Terrill! Started off well, with a sub-hilt. My favorite!
