New Management!

Similar has happened at Spyderco from what I understand. Eric is now running the show. We'll see how much Jon likes S30v, right Cypress Cypress ?

Wow. That is huge news at one of the major corporate players in our favorite industry.

Here's hoping for huge success.

Jon will do great. He has been with the company since he was a kid and has worked in almost every department. Les has made sure he was very familiar with the details of the organization as he was himself. Now as to no more S30V...we shall see ;).

One would hope that Benchmade would offer new automatic mechanisms, instead of the tired plunge-lock design.

$100-$250 US made knife market is for the taking right now. ZT can't get good press or community feedback at all these days and Spyderco seem to be compromising every new design to fit a compression lock in it. Haven't designed a real winner since the Manix 2.

Bearings! Hey it’s working for ZT and that’s even in spite of their senior management people acting like a-holes here and elsewhere, even directly to customers (like me).

S35VN is more “user friendly” than 30 since it’s easier to sharpen and a little tougher, very stainless too.

Sterling Ball has done similar with his son's as his dad did with him. I'm hoping Jon is a fan of 20cv personally. :)
