at the Eugene show in April one of the prototypes on display was a fantastic titanium framelock with 3.5" blade, I fell in love. My impression was that Sal seemed more excited about immedately pursuing some of the other designs on the table. Does anyone know if this one will be put into production? It looked great and had fantastic ergonomics!

Interesting........I would love to see something like the Techno evolve to a 3.5'' blade. Regardless anything from Marcin is going on the buy list!

Was the proto all Ti?

That would have been perfect. Been pestering Sal lightly for a 3.5" Techno:D

no it was less exotic looking. I guess if they are pursuing that then they dropped the one I saw, which is really too bad it was great

I'm ready for more Marcin designs. The concept model SpydeChef(dont mind the name, it should excel in more than food prep) is real nice.

I too agree that anything new in the form of a Marcin/Spydie collab immediately goes on my buy list. I sure hope the SpydeChef is first out of the chute...would make a great EDC. I always liked the Rock Lobster and Marcin's SpydeChef seems more like a fluid, refined version of the RL.
