Hi all

Just got my first maxpedition bag, the Condor ll. Seems to be really nice. The webbing is in the perfect spot for alot of things. My RC-5 is attached very snug. I don't have access to the knife from that position though, so I don't plan on leaving it there.

A little bit shorter than I thought it would be but it holds alot of gear and the zippers don't get stuck.

will be using this as my school bag, hunting bag, and for camping so It will see alot of use.

So far I can say I highly reccomend this bag

Here are some quick pictures I took

Nice knife and bag. Put the bag on with a pic so ppl can tell the bag proportion?? PPL = me I'm looking for a bag :)

I have a SR Waki on pre order. What I am really looking foward to is rigging a kydex sheath for that to one side of the pack. Just gotta make sure the sheath has the right setup.

Thinking about a Condor myself. I like the "shortness" if you will. A sleeping bag should ride comfortably at the bottom of the pack.
Post some pics of you wearing it if you can.

That's a nice looking setup you've got there. I just got a Condor II in Khaki and it is a nice backpack. I don't have an RC-5 (yet) but my RC-3 MIL is sure liking its new home.

I just received my black Condor II today as well. My first reaction was a little disappointment at how small the thing is. I have been going back and forth between a Falcon II and Condor II for a couple of months. I think the Vulture II is more along the size I was hoping for. The Condor is about the size of a standard school backpack.

However, after hemming and hawing for a few minutes I decided the bag was big enough to suit my needs. I cut the tags off and packed all my EDC stuff into to. I really like this bag. What everyone says is true: this thing is certainly built like a tank. I love the hydration pocket. Two compression straps on each side are a big bonus. Enough MOLLE straps to attach anything you can imagine. There are enough pockets and dividers incorporated into the design to organize anything you carry. But not too many to drive you nuts looking for your stuff. The one thing I am not sure about is the Y-strap that all the Max-packs have across the top. It is completely removeable though and I might just tuck it away until a time I decide I need it. Although there is enough room to pack for an overnight in the wild, I think this bag is better suited for day excursions and EDC, which is what I plan on using it for. I may decide to get one of those bottle holders to attach to the side just because I think they are pretty cool. All-in-all, I am very satisfied with my first Maxpedition purchase.

I was issued a camelbak BFM, it's great for a large pack. I really need a smaller one and yours looks very nice to fit that bill.

Great bag, and great blade.... the prefect combo for taking out Zombie's during Social Studies. :D

On the serious side, you'll find as you use it more, it truly does hold an amazing amount of gear for the size. I think you made a really good choice.
