I just received a Busse Mean Street that I ordered from Bladeart.com. Great transaction, btw.
I'm just trying to find out a little about the history of my particular knife. It is a Mean Street, with polished blade. It supposedly has INFI steel and G-10 scales, but I can't tell if this is the case or not.
The actual knife that I bought is at www.bladeart.com, click, "Knives", then "Production", then "Busse". Mine is the first Mean Street pictured. It came with an extra neck sheath, which is great. I paid $300.
So, is this INFI steel? G-10 scales? Approximately when was it made? Does Busse not stamp their name anywhere on their knives? Mine has no markings, except for a small cut in the steel right before the blade edge starts.
I have been wanting a thick, 1/4" stock, short-blade knife for neck carry for a while. I guess they are pretty rare. This one seems like it can handle anything. Also, do some of the sheath-makers have sheaths for this model in stock?
Thanks for any help.
