I just received on of the new G-10 Medium Espada with a CTS-XHP blade yesterday. I haven't purchased one of their folders since I was in high school (a medium tanto Voyager in the mid-90's) and I can say I'm very impressed with the fit and finish of this new knife! The quality of the materials and craftsmanship rival that of other manufacturers folders that cost 2-3 times more!

The only thing I don't care for is the bear claw of a pocket clip, lol. It's a combination of the clip being too small and the rough texture of the G-10 scales. I took the clip off and buffed the contact area underneath it smooth. This helped a little bit, however the the lip of my pocket still binds up when I try to attach the clip one handed. This is with some loose fitting Dickies cargo pants. If the clip were a little bit longer and/or the end that slides over the pocket was a bit wider with more of an up-sweep, this problem would be solved.

I would recommend taking the clip off and bending the end of it up a little bit.

That should solve the binding issue.

I took the clip off and bent it a little bit and it didn't do much to solve the binding issue with those loose fit cargo pants I mentioned. Tried it with some jeans and had not problems there!:thumbup::thumbup:

Like most people on bladeforums, I have multiple pocket knives, so I'll just put it into rotation to use with pants/shorts that are made from a thicker/firmer material.
