Hi everyone,
I just joined the forum after getting bit by the folding knife bug. Me likes
Anyways, I was adjusting my Dendra Typhoon with the tool it comes with and I squared up the adjustment pivot holes (they were round). I noticed that there is really no need for the cheap tool, which looks like a guitar pick. You can adjust the pivot with torx and allen bits.
Rather than pout, I took off the pivot bolts and begin to sand them up to 1500 grit and finished up with a quick polish using turtle was swirl remover and a dremel. I think it came out pretty good. Here are some pics.
I also adjusted the pivot pressure and lubed the teflon washers. It came stiff as hell but now it is very slick.
Thanks for looking in,
Gabe G.
