new member....Buck 119 from SMKW

Hello everyone, Since retiring I've kinda gotten into the knife buying business...LOL! I look forward to learning more about all different types and brands. I have focused on Buck knives and have acquired several in the past few months....a 110, an 055, a 112 from Bucks custom shop, and a 75th anniversary 119 with the wood handle that I just ordered today. I chose the one SMKW claims is 1/50 with the 2016 tang stamp. I should have discussed this with you guys before buying it I suppose but I just couldn't resist. After ordering the 119 I registered here and immediately saw a post on Buck fake/knockoffs being sold as real Buck knives. I would like your opinions on whether you guys think I might have bought a fake Buck. Coming from SMKW I feel mostly OK with the purchase, but I'm not entirely sure. Thanks, gman

As noted above you need not worry. Pretty sure SMKW is getting their product from Buck so fakes would be pretty much impossible.

SMKW is fine...I posted about that knife a few days ago.....All is good with them!
