Hey everyone I'm a new member and thought I should introduce myself.

I started buying knives a few years ago. I started with a SOG flash 2, I beat it up and gave it to a friend. I replaced that knife with a Boker, but my daily carry knife is a Benchmade Griptilian, which I love.

I figured that I should have a nice fixed blade too, so I researched the forums, and settled on a Esee RC-4. I just ordered it and am impatiently waiting for it to arrive. So anyways just saying hello.

Welcome to Bladeforums. You will have a lot of fun here, and learn a ton about knives as well.

Good choice on the Esee4. It's my favorite woods-bumming blade. Great do-anything knife. There are a lot of addictions here. Make your decisions and spend your money wisely !!
:)

Looks like you're on the right track, give it a year of being here you'll own one or maybe more if not all of these 3

1. XM-18
2. Strider SMF/SNG
3. Sebenza SM/LG

Thanks everyone, I look forward to learning more about knives. I don't think my wallet is looking forward to it though.

Welcome to bladeforums. Say hello to the addiction and goodbye to your money!

Ain't that the truth. I am slowly working toward buying one of these by the end of this year, most likely the small Sebenza. And I thought $50 was a lot to spend on a knife back in January...

Got the SMF, if I could net a XM-18 3.5 flipper for ~$400 I'd buy it, not sure I'd pay more than $250 for a sebenza though...not really interested.
