Hi guys, i just ordered my first spydie ever the Gayle Bradley. Hope I made a good decision on this tank of a knife. :P

Any other suggestions on must-have spydies I should get somewhere down the line?

Must haves? So many to choose from! You already got the Gayle Bradley, which is a top pick. Beautiful knife.

I'm fairly new to the Spydie addiction (last May), and I've found 32 must haves, so far.

But, if I dare make some suggestions:

Sage 1 & Sage 2 are about as ideal EDC as you can get.

Manix 2 series - robust, ergonomic, rock-solid

Military - the flagship.... gotta have at least one.

Paramilitary 2 - hottest knife at the moment. Everyone wants one.

Lum Chinese (Nishijin Carbon Fiber) - just a gorgeous knife. The CF is unsurpassed.

That's all I'll say for now... gotta go.

I don't have the GB but I will, I've read to much good about it.

My two must have's in the current Catalog: Sage II & Para II
Must haves from discontinued knives: Manix I & Mini-Manix

endura and delica are the biggest classic in the current line up.

i second the milie any variations.

Out of my current Spydies, these are the ones I'd pull from the burning house:

Gayle Bradley
Stretch in ZDP189 (I prefer the cabon fibre version.)
Endura is a classic: my favourites are the Wave and ZDP189 FFG.
Manix 1
Warrior (Much more practical than its combat origins would lead you to believe.)

Smaller knives:
Caly 3 CF/ZDP189 is beauty but not all folks like the pretty-but-slippy smooth carbon fibre
Being from the UK I am never without either UKPK (Black G10/CPMS30v) or Terzuola.

I am waiting on CF Para 2 sprint, which might well make it onto that list.

Congrats on one of the very best Spyderco knives ever designed. Spyderco and Gayle Bradley just created an instant classic. It has to be one of the very finest knives I've ever owned.
As for the next one, there are a lot to choose from:
Paramilitary2 - The upgrades made to the original have assured this knife will be a classic.
Military - Another classic, strong light, and a tremendous cutter.
Stretch - One of the very best slicers ever made. Blade shape and ergos are amazing.

Welcome. I also just received a Gayle Bradley:thumbup:. It's my first spydie made in taiwan. Beautiful knife well made. But my all time favorite has to be the Para military:thumbup::thumbup:. I' have it in many configurations. Love that knife, fits my medium size hand perfectly. Enjoy all your Spydies:D

I've had my Gayle Bradley a little over a month and I've carried and used it every single one of those days in between. Everything from cutting food and veggies to cutting/fitting cove base molding at work. It's a great knife and the M4 takes AND holds an incredibly strong edge. It's hair whittling scary sharp. Absolutely love this thing.

Thanks for the all the input guys! Now i have to add a lot more knives to that ever growing list of "MUST-HAVES"

+1 on the Stretch recommendation. This is one of the best all-around knives every built. Thin and light enough for EDC, stout enough for serious work.

My GB came in the mail today, came razor sharp and what a sexy blade. ;]
