Never a lurker, first time member.
I live in the Ft. Knox area, I have a few basic knifes.

-Gerber Outrigger-convex grind (just put a 20 degree bevel on it tonight for S&Gs)
-CRKT Endorser
-Benchmade 553-project knife. Reprofiled and softened the grind a bit and made it more of a traditional tanto. 20 degree into 30 micro bevel.
-Benchmade Nimravus-Camp knife and occasional carry.
-Becker Ka-Bar BK2-Whacker

I've just recently started to really get into knives, but it's always been one of my many interests.

Just hoping learn and share with a community with similar interests

Welcome.
I like the beanchmade you reprofiled looks good
I know Bowlig Green , Paducah, and Middlesbrough KY well, But never been to Ft knox although wouldn't mind if they send some Gold my way. :D

Appreciate the welcome, my friend.
Nothing here except assholes, retirees, and broken dreams. Lol-just kidding.
But no reason to come here just for knox.

Welcome. I was raised up the road from there in Pleasure Ridge area. Was down that way many times in Muldraugh and E-Town. Yes, many retired Army and most of them happy to give orders if they could. I worked for a while at Sumner's Hardware and one retired brass would come in regularly and try to take command of the store.

Welcome! good looking knives. Good to see another Kentuckian on here. (I'm an expat, but was born and raised in Harrodsburg.)

Welcome!
Love seeing KY knife-lovers here.
You can't beat Bladeforums for good company and more knife knowledge.
Have a good one!

Great to see all you Kentuckians using technology! It's really inspiring to see our wonderful state catch up to the times. =P

Updated picture of my 553 project.

Did you know they got this thang called a youtube and you can watch reruns of HeeHaw all you want to instead of having to wait for Saturday night like when I was kid. Technology is amazing and continues to improve my life. Cool knife there also.

Wait....you got to watch EVERY Saturday night?
We had to walk clear down to the next farm to watch any kind of television. Even then, only every other saturday.

:grumpy:

Every Saturday night right after Lawrence Welk. Somethings ought not be missed. We just were watching Archie Campbell telling the story of Rindercella and the Prandsome Hince. Just be careful where you slop your dripper is about all the advice you could ever need.

Man as a kid archie's stories, Granpa's "whats for dinner" andand the hee haw honeys made my week,
Not to even mention you got to see and Hear some of the best music ever made.
