Hi all,
I am a newbie in the world of knives. I got into led flashlights a couple of years ago, became a member of CPF and BLF, and this is where I discovered some threads with pictures of very nice knives posted by members and have decided finally to learn a bit more about them. Christmas being around the corner, I ordered recently my first knives on KnifeWorks (among the few US stores I found who ship internationally for a reasonable price), namely a couple of Ontario RAT 2 for family members and a CRKT Swindle with grooved handle for myself, which I am very excited to hold soon in my hand.
In life, I am an artist involved in the film business. I live in Quebec, but am currently on a sabbatical year in East Europe. I am married and have two little daughters (8 and 4) for whom I recently bought some Opinels #8 with round end which they seem to enjoy a lot. After having infested our house with flashlights, I have a goal of putting a knife in every drawer and closet around, making my wife quite happy
