I'd like to introduce myself to everyone here at Blade Forums.
After years of browsing and reading on occasion, I have finally decided to take the plunge and become a registered member.
My interest in knives and all things edged go back to when I was a wee lad. I have my father to thank for that.
We used to frequent the annual custom knife show in NYC back in the eighties and early nineties.
Lots of good memories and some blades purchased there. We met amazing Bladesmiths and some great people.
Fast forward some years and during that time, my collection and knowledge grew and I vacated my hometown at some point for better climes.
Anyway, sorry if I bored anyone with my long winded post. I look forward to being a member. Learning never ceases and perhaps I can help in the future.
