Hello Everyone! Long time lurker, figured it was time to join up! I've been into knives since I was a kid, but only in the past couple years have I gotten into the hobby in earnest. I guess I could be considered a "collector", but I'm not crazy about the term, as I don't really have any "safe queens", though I do have knives that get used less than others for practicality purposes (not much use for a 10"+ fixed blade on the hip while strolling through suburban North Texas). My favorite fixed blade knife maker is Bark River, and my favorite folders are made by GEC; though while I have several of each, my interests and collection are not limited to those two brands. Anyway, just wanted to "hi", looking forward to my time here on BF.
P.S. not 100% sure this is the right spot for such a thread, but I spent several minutes looking around for a new member intro sticky, and after not seeing one decided that this was the most logical place.....if I'm wrong, mods please feel free to move/close/delete/ whatever, and point me in the right direction, thanks.
P.P.S. on joining I checked a box agreeing to basic forum rules, and remember reading something about a complete, detailed listing of forum rules posted elsewhere, which I have been unable to find....can someone either link it here, or tell me where to find it please?
