I've enjoyed reading on this site and appreciate all the info. I had a nice collection of custom knives back in the late 70's but alas only 2 remain. Military service, marriage and kids caused them to flee to new homes. It would break your heart to hear what I sold. Anyway, enough of the heartbreak memories. My boy is now 18 and he has rekindled the fire again but must say most new knives I purchase in the future will be factory made. My only concern is the bug will once again take hold and I'll become borderline obsessive/compulsive.:D I look forward to a little time here. Best wishes and Happy Holidays to all.

My personal theory is that all Hobbyists and Collectors are borderline OCD.
Welcome, you'll enjoy your visits very much.

I also think that you'll find that what is coming from the factories today is quite different than in the 70's.

Well, most knives are cheapr than guns to collect, but I do that too. Sigh.

Welcome!

Come on in and join the party! It's always good to get some new blood in the forums!

You don't have any of those old junky Gerber Paul knives from the 1970's laying around do you? Hee hee!

I bought these 2 this week. The sickness has begun. :D Also picked up 2 Buck 110s from Wallyworld.

Hi Mike, welcome aboard and enjoy your stay here. Don't worry about knife addiction, it's the most easiest way to get rid of it. I quit buying knives hundreds of times so far.
