Hello all. Just letting you know I'm here and appreciate the group.

I'm just someone who's always liked knives. I don't collect; I just don't leave the house without one or two pocket knives on me.

I got the itch the other day for another knife, a change, and decided to buy the new Case swell center (coke bottle) jack knife. It occurred to me to check the law in my state and verify there isn't a length restriction, and found this forum while looking around and following links.

As I say, I've just always like knives, and the times I leave home without one is always the time I end up wishing I had one on me. I bought my first with birthday money when I was in junior high school. It is a Case trapper. I still have it and can remember picking it out like it was yesterday. I've been partial to Case all along.

Anyway, thanks for the forum. I enjoy it.

Thanks for the welcom, and the tips.

gazz, my flashlight is my bag and the leatherman is in the car. I tend to not carry the leatherman in the bag because I forget about it. A couple times when I've forgotten a knife in the bag and TSA finds it I've been lucky enough that they let me go back and put it in my car or leave it at the Delta desk, and Delta has held it for me until I got back.
