Hi I am Jim Minnick, a custom maker. My wife and I have been in the business for over 38 years. I have included an image of my recent work. I am excited to become active in this forum.

Hey Cliff, doing well. Thought we would venture into the cyber world! Great to hear from you.

I saw a knife very similar to the knife in your picture at a recent knife show. I love the blade shape, and was very surprised at the price the guy was selling it for. A lot of "bang for the buck"... It was a very well made knife with great fit/finish and a good weight to it.

Hi Jim,

So cool to see you join us. There are old friends here, and new ones you will meet.

It's a good community with a healthy dose of opinions.

My opinion is that you are showing us your latest, but hardly your most renowned work. I'll simply point to the direction of your's and Joyce's mad skills:

Tell us about that knife in your opening post?

Oh and by the way BTW... that's a heck of a nice tactical folder you posted! It cradles nicely the old school of elegance and design and the new of military utility efficiency. Welcome to Blade Forums!

Thank you, so good to hear "old school". That is the only way I know to design and build a knife.

Welcome Jim and Joyce. I don't know how many years ago but we had dinner with Don and I believe Cliff one year at blade. Good company and you make great knives.
