I have an older knife I found while ordering a leather belt sheath for a Case knife in a local shop. While waiting for the older gentleman that owned and operated JPs Boot and Leather, I was browsing and found this. He told me he purchased the knife from the maker "A while back", but couldn't remember his name, made the horizontal sheath and placed it out for sale. I paid $100 without even trying to haggle as I found it an interesting find with the sheath. It is high mirror each side with bone/antler scales, CH stamp on one side, and K on the other, VERY thick for its size (1/4 inch), and sharp. The maker would have been in the North Texas - Denton, Gainesville area as JP said the maker was "local". ANY information would be greatly appreciated.
If any other information is needed, or photo's, please let me know. I edited the pics to take the glare from the flash away. Makes the marks easier to see.
