Hey folks. New to the forum, been lurking and checking out the sub forums, made a few posts. I like what I see so I bought a gold membership. I am new to blades, and really fairly ignorant about quality steel and keeping sharp edges. However, I'm pretty old salt when it comes to guns and have been an AK builder for a long time. Looking to get my knowledge up on blades and how they are best deployed as daily utility tools, tools for the outdoors and as weapons.

I'm in the Houston area, glad to meet you all.
