Hello everyone, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Nathan, I live in Queensland, Australia, and I have been bitten by the Becker Bug big time. I have only recently gotten back into blades, and came across the forum and did a lot of searching and reading. Then I started hearing about Becker knives, and did some research. About 2 hours later, I had ordered a BK9. I got it a few days later, and fell in love with it.
Soon, a BK2 was in my hands. Next, a 13. Just got myself a 17, and I am finding it hard to stop, I think I have a problem, but it's a good problem. Maybe a 15 next....
So anyway, after seeing some of the amazing custom work done here, I tried my hand at making some hardwood scales for the 9. I received some nice pieces of Australian spotted gum, and got to work. Took me the better part of a weekend to get them looking good, as I have minimal power tools, but in the end I am quite happy with the end result. I put on three coats of clear matte finish and will wax them soon.
After finishing the scales, a decided to try my hand at leather work, and make my first sheath. I was given some scrap leather to work on, and after a few days, finished it. I learned a lot from the first sheath, and I will get some more leather soon to try some more things out.
And on to the photos.....

Any comments or criticisms are more than welcome
