We were down in Tennessee last week and was on vacation there in the great Smoky Mountains. This is the new member to the family here. As you can see it is a Gibson J-45 acoustic and electric as well. I am planning on having some inlay work done on the neck of the guitar later on. I will post some of the work when it is finished. I will be utilizing a laser engraving machine.

Here is another photograph of the head of the guitar. The Gibson came with a hard shell case black in color and with the fluffy blue material in side. My older guitar I gave to my wife and I been teaching her and my son that is still here at home how to play. I am hoping by this time next year we will be able to play some nice music. I have a been playing for about 49 year now. So this is not the first-time I have took on challenge. I keep telling them that is is like making knives. practice practice practice and you will learned.

Very nice! I love acoustics. I used to play an el cheapo Ovation years ago. It truly was a great sounding guitar. Hows the action on this, More acoustic or more electric like? Its been years for me but that ovation played just like an electric.

The action on this guitar is superb and second to none. The sound quality and tones are right on the money. The acoustics are top-notch and when plugged in there is no difference in the acoustics. It has the B tone in harmonics which is the hardest to produce. This is my second guitar with this quality sound. God bless and have a nice day. :) Here is more informaion on my guitar at http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Aco...d-Shoulder/Gibson-Acoustic/J-45-Standard.aspx
