Good evening...

I mentioned in another thread I was looking at replacing my 8yo EDC Emerson and I didn't know what model it was (/gasp, I know a cardinal sin). I've pondered this a couple times, in the past, but didn't really give it a whole lot of thought. I'm extremely busy on a day to day basis...so this is not something I've worried about. I'm a simple guy and don't care about the origins of a tool as long as it fulfills it's intended purpose.

This Emerson was a gift about 8 years ago, or so. It did come with a box but with 4 moves and several deployments, since then, it has long disappeared. Would one of you fine blade aficionado's help me out with ID'ng this knife?

Thank you ...

I could be wrong, but it looks like an SOCFK "A" model. There's a "B" also.

If memory serves, the Specwar and SOCFK names were used to describe the same folding knives (A and B models notwishstanding).

Thanks for all the replies.

Sorry if I came off harsh to A.P.F...wasn't my intention at all.

As I mentioned I never had a problem with the blade..held up fine to all kinds of disrespectful, real world use, hehee. Since it's Emerson I know its quality, but what is the consensus on its design? In my experience its been a good knife. Titanium Linerlock, G-10, not sure of the steel however.

Who knows...even with the new knives incoming, it may still find its place in my pocket.

Thanks again...
