Hi all
I am a new member here and just wanted to to say hello. I found this forum doing a search for of all things "Croccodile Bowie II". Yeah I know Frost Cutlery, not more to say the name says it all but it was the first large knife I bought when I got into collecting knives. The one I had must have been from the 1st production run, it was made in Pakistan and it wasn't up to the usual low Frost level. It took an edge easily( and at that time I barely knew how to sharpen a knife) I could shave the hair off my arm. It had a good heavy feel to it and felt solid. It did not have anything on the blade as some of the pictures on the net show. I was so impressed by my first buy that I made the mistake of buying several more knives from Frost. The other knives were so bad in fit and finish that I rarely showed them off. While I prefer my Muela combat bowie I now have, I wish I still had the Corcodile II.

1. Welcome to BFs!
2. Hide wallet
3. Don't look in the For Sale Forum or Knifemakers section.

If you don't do 2 or 3, don't worry, because...

1. I'm sure the Govt will bail you out.
2. 2nd mortgages are normal here.
3. Your 401k is probably crapping out, might as well buy cool knives.
4. If you're too young to think about retirement, buy cool knives.

Welcome aboard, gilbertoliver.

Just to help you out, I'll take gazz98's step number 2 a step further: send me your wallet, and you won't be able to waste your money on knives. This is for your own good, of course, since it will help lessen the chances of you becoming more addicted.*

* That doesn't mean your money won't be spent on new knives, just that you won't be spending it. Your wife will be so happy that you're not spending money on knives: it's a win-win.

with the economy the way it is I haven't had Any money to spend on knives. I just got a freebie multi-tool from Copenehagen, it was not bad considering the price, not good but..... Before that my kids chipped in and got me a Cold Steel Kurki machete for my birthday.
