New military came. Generally happy but the offcentered blade is killing me. The blade is practically touching the clipside scale...I expected a little more right out of the box.

Is there a tutorial that touches on blade adjustment at the pivot? Thanks!

I read a helpful thread on this issue awhile back but I can't find the link.
If I recall, you need to tighten the pivot screw, then loosen the handle screws, push the blade to the opposite side and tighten the handle screws. Loosen the pivot and see if it improved.
Someone else will probably chime in here.
I tried the technique on a Benchmade and it worked perfectly.

Every Military I've received has been dead center. Most, if not all centering problems can be solved with a couple tweaks. Just make sure you have the proper tools to do the job. A T6 torx is required for the scale scres as well as the clip screws. The pivot screw on my Millie is a T10.

There are a couple good tutorials out there on blade centering. I can't seem to find those threads.....hopefully someone will chime in.

+1 on the technique from LowTec, worked for me as well. My new digi-cam Millie was way off center but with that technique I centered it perfect. Make sure to use the correct size bit.

I have 2 Millies and a 3rd on the way. Booth came with off center blades.
One was bad and went right to Golden (after I screwed up the centering procedure). The second is not bad enough to send in but if I receive an off center blade on a $135-$150 knife it goes back to the factory quicker than a duck flying south in winter!!

Thanks for the info guys. I'll probably attempt to center the blade, although it's pretty far off so maybe it goes back.

Loosen the pivot and the stop pin. Then gradually retighten both sides making sure to watch the blade, and tighten according to how it's centering.

Fixed the only off center millie I have that way, all the others have been fine.
