New Military G10 (photos w/CF)

I so fell in love with the CF Military I got recently that I wanted to get a G-10 model for "casual wear." I bought this one from gent who had posted it for sale Tuesday on USN. It was in my pocket by lunchtime Wednesday. Now I can save my CF for dress.

Nice photos! In the photos the Grippy CF just shines compared to the G10. How do you like the feel of the CF??

Thanks Blades! The CF reflects light differently and looks even more distinctive in the photographs. The feel of the peel-ply CF is fantastic! I sincerely hope Sal decides to make some more knifes, especially the Para Military, with the same CF.

Great Pics!
I was wondering, is there a difference in weight between the two? I would imagine that the carbon fiber would be lighter than the G10.

Jason, the CF model is nominally lighter than the G-10 version, but I don't recall the precise difference. It is barely discernable in my hands.

Ron, your pictures are just so great!! I have a special folder where I save most all of them and use them for my desktop pics. Great knife! I think you should try one of these.

Thanks Ron. As always, I'm so glad that my photos are enjoyed.

Regarding the Para, I have tried it. It was actually my first Spyderco, and I love it. I sincerely hope Sal will make a CF Para and a Military 2 with the compression lock. Those will surely be two knives I will buy.

Thanks Ron. If you want one of my images on PBase, open the image, then click on ORIGINAL under the photo. This will open a larger image that can be saved by right clicking. I think you get a better quality image that way.
