New Military & Para on the way !

I think I might have a problem. I've bought 6 different Spydercos in the last 2 weeks........ :D

I just got a new combo black blade military and have been carrying it for a few days. First off this thing is HUUUUUGE, and man do I love it. As a LEO I'm always looking for the perfect EDC duty knife. I think I've found it in the Military. I love the thickness of the blade but yet it's so light weight. I initially had concerns about the liner lock but after handling this knife those are gone. The blade locks up tight and solid. The handle is perfect, very slip resistant. The large hole makes for quick one handed opening. The most pleasant surprise was how sharp this knife came from the factory. Normally I have to touch them up on the edgepro & strop. Not this one, it's wicked sharp. My only complaint is the tip down carry, but I can live with that.

I just won a Para military on e-bay, I can't wait to get my hands on that one.........Don't tell my wife. ;)

Try this excuse on for size, "Uh, yeah honey...that's the same knife I carried yesterday." That's my favorite :D

Great idea! Could easily be pulled off it you own a Calypso, a Military and an Endura (to the untrained wife's eye) but a little more difficult with the Military and, say, a Smurf Dodo! :D
 
The last time I got a new knife she saw it and asked, "Honey, is that a new Spyderco in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?" Of course I gave the only answer I could think of................Ah, Yes! ;)
