New Military

Hi All,

My new Satin S30V Military arrived today. My first initial impressions are, quick opening, solid lockup, razor hairshaving sharp and excellent fit and finish. Also the blade shape is awesome. I love the handle as it fits great in my hand. This is one huge folder!I'm used to carrying a large folder though since I have been edcing an Emerson cqc8. The millie feels much lighter in the hand than the cqc8. The only thing I have to get used to is tip down carry.

Well for now this will be my new carry knife and I'm lovin it.:thumbup:

Good choice and as is often said, it will "shrink" on you as you carry it. I carry mine in the right front hip pocket all the way back and unless I don't push it all the way back when I put it in my pocket after use I seldom feel it when I carry one.

I have a CQC-8 too. The Military is an all around better EDC IMO. The 8 is no slouch though, just a different beast.

Yup, give it a week in your pocket and it will indeed shrink. Tip down will become second nature to you as well. It's a great knife:thumbup:

The Military does shrink on you. Solution: carry a Ladybug for a week.
