New Mnandi Bocote Inlay Arrived

I received a new Mnandi this morning with Bocote Inlay. The knife has the new style pivot and jimping but old style nail nick and clip which I prefer. One question: On my other Mnandi's (they have the old style pivot) I can't seen the detent hole when opening, but on this knife (new pivot, only new style I have) the detent hole can be seen (last photo #5) when opening, is that normal?

That is a beauty! I love the grain pattern. I am sorry I can't answer your question regarding the detent hole. I am sure one of our experts can.
 
I actually went on You Tube and watched some Mnandi videos and it seems as though the detent hole CAN be seen when opening the blade.

Very nice hodo615! I was watching that one on the bay as well. The grain is really nicely defined.
 
Great catch - nice configuration - congrats.
Seeing the detenthole while opening the knife ist perfectly normal.
