Well, I got my new Mnandi the other day. I bought it as a "dress up" knife for when I put on a suit or slacks. (My normal EDC is a small sebenza). Finally got a chance to take some pictures for you all to look at.
(I've never taken pictures of knives before, especially up close like this. You sure see all the spots you forgot to polish up when you do this, don't you?)
Anyway, here's my new mnandi. The inlay is black dyed amboyna:
Here's the back-side of the same knife:
And, finally, just for grins here's my entire Chris Reeve family. From top to bottom these are a Mountaineer II (my woods-walking knife), a small Sebenza with micarta scales (EDC'd every day for over a year now) and of course the new Mnandi.
Of course, looking at that picture, I'm thinking a large Sebenza with a nice graphic would balance it out nicely. But no, no, no, that'd be going too far, wouldn't it?
