I was looking through knife mags at the bookstore and they had a MOD add, with a picture of a scarry looking fixed blade. I forget what it was called, but it looked like a Klingon Fighting knife. I like it :)
Mod doesn't seem to have pic on their page yet...

THE CQD MARK V ATAC

I saw this knife a few days ago and it looked really impressive. Definately not my style of knife but it looks wicked. It also looks to have the same type of handle inserts that I absolutely love on my CQD MKII.

You can read more about it here.

Really looks good :)

Oh man, thats a must have !!! i Don't even care what the price or materials happen to be, that design is wicked :)

Wow...yeah, that is some design. I'd have to handle it to see if I like it, but it's certainly some visual spectacle!

It must have a unique sheath as well to prevent injury from the guards on it. A purpose driven piece for sure. Not all that bad a price either. One to consider in the near future. Owning that would definitely get you an upgrade to full knife knut from partial knife knut. It would be worth the price just to see the look on my wife's face when I opened the box.

Mike990,

LOL! Yeah I can just picture my mom's face if I brought one of those bad boys home, she thought my 3.5" clip point pocket folder was intimidating, take a look at this! :)

I've wanted one of these since I saw a picture that Mike Turber took at "last" years Blade Show! I didn't know it was available yet. I'm curious as to the handling with that modified choil. Very nice, now there's another knife for my list!

Sigh!! (see signature)

Word is that these aren't going to be available for a few more weeks since there is a hold up on sheaths.

Thanks for the info Spark, and everyone else who responded. It's nice to see an unappologetically tactical knife. The world needs more of that.

I don't think this part of the question was answered, so here goes: suggested retail on this piece is supposed to be a little under $300.

Does anyone have this knife of the year? I would like to hear your review of it.

Are these available yet?
Does anyone have experience with one?

They look pretty nice and seem to have multiple capabilities.
Seems like a perfect knife for the great outdoors, with that
"futuristic" look to it as a bonus.
